OK, I was a little skeptical when ordering this as I couldn't imagine how in the world this things works. Admittedly even after I received the item I put it on and tried hitting the ball how I thought it should be hit. Was I successful. NO WAY. Then my 14 year old son got ahold of this and mastered it in about 5 minutes. Don't I feel smart. After watching him, it's amazing how quickly he picked this up. I'm amazed at how well this will improve his eye hand coordination. I feel confident if someone tries to hit him he will block it good!! Now I will be attempting to start this again seeing how my son has mastered this and I feel I will be successful it mastering this item. I can't wait to get started!

First off, I would like to say that this is WAY harder than I thought when I first decided to order it. On the other hand it is SO MUCH FUN! We took it to a gathering with a bunch of adults and everyone wanted to try it- even the kids that were there gave it a try. You will most definitely look a little silly but once you get the hang of it you can't get enough. Thankfully the ball is soft so when it smacks you in the face the first couple of times you can laugh it off. I think that would also be interesting to try if there were adult beverages involved (for the grown ups, of course).

This is so much fun!! I will admit, I wasn't sure how much I would like this, but figured it would be good to keep my responses quick. It seems totally awkward at first, but once you get the hang of it it is so much fun and really does help with hand eye coordination. You won't get a cardio workout with this, but if you use it long enough it can give your arms a little workout. I'm a little on the short side, but I just wrap the cord around the headband a couple of times to shorten the string which makes it easier for me to reach the ball. This is a fun way to work your arms and hand eye coordination and I think it would be great for the whole family!

This is such a great idea!! My 7 year old son is loving this box a ball! . It works great to bounce the ball on the ground or out in front of you. The ball is just the right size and is soft enough to not hurt you when you miss it! I bought this for my son to work on his reflexes to improve his hand and eye coordination for sports. We have had a few good laughs out of it.

Nice little exercise to do. Very simple and doesn't take much space. Easy to take in a suitcase to have an exercise while away from home as well. Seems to hold up very well.

Not sure I would use this for any serious training, but it is pretty fun! My teens got really good at it, but I still struggle. The headband is elastic and has a good bit of stretch, but there's also velcro for getting a perfect fit. The elastic string that connects the ball is thin, but is holding well so far. It seems to be attached pretty well to the headband. FUN party game!

my kids and just love it. i hang it on the ceiling and we called a stress ball. we work on reaction and just for fun. it is hard to teach daughters to protect themselves, at least they could learn to hit hard.

It may look silly, but this thing is great! You can get a good workout from it and it's easily incorporated into your routine. It helps with reflexes as well. It's also very portable so it's a good workout tool to bring with you on a trip. Both my husband and I enjoy it. I'm glad that I made this purchase.

I actually box and I can tell you this thing has drastically improved the accuracy of my punches. With plenty of practice you'll soon be able to punch this thing like you would a pad or reflex pad. If you can accurately control this ball with punches from a boxing stance you'll see pin point accuracy manifest in your performance.

This thing looks silly, but it is so fun! My kids even kept wanting to take turns with it! I can't even get it out without them begging to have a turn. At first I wasn't sure how it worked, but I quickly learned that you strap it around your forehead and punch the ball. If you're not quick enough, it might "punch" YOU in the face too! It's fun to test your reflexes and get a short workout in the process.

mine broke after like 10 punches but i just put the broken part of the string inside the velcro so it still works.. totally fun and hard at first but you get the hang of it. real fun.

When I purchased this item I was hesitant due to the price but once it had came in, I was so satisfied with my purchase! Whether you're training for boxing or just want to improve your speed and hand eye coordination then this is definitely worth buying. Very fun and addicting but watch out because the ball hits you right back if you miss your punch haha.

Kinda cool and does work with hand-eye coordination. It says that the black ball is the beginner's ball. Yet it's the black ball that I initially had the most trouble with. The yellow tennis ball was the easiest for me to get a rhythm going with. But maybe they mark the black ball as the "beginner's" ball because it's the softest. Otherwise, I really like it as a training tool.

This boxing ball(3 balls inside actually!) is a simple-design, but you will need to practice a bit till enjoy playing with it, it will be a really good practice toy. It's a super fun way to practice boxing or hand-eye coordination, fun practice time really made!
Could be a great family time activity as well.

This is perfect for me as I box at least three times a week. it has immediately improved my reflexes and accuracy. My son is 9 and he loves it too, treating it more like a game. It has held up really well and feels like good quality materials. The headband is soft but fits snug, and it comes with an extra length of cord.
