Perfect covers! I have, over the course of many dog-filled years, tried many brands of sofa covers. In fact, I recently retired a set of much, much, *much* more expensive covers which only lasted a year. We have 3 crazy little rescue dogs who have their own doggie door and huge fenced yard, so there's a lot of tracking in of dirt, leaves, you name it. And of course as soon as they come in (without wiping their paws!) they hop up onto the furniture. The reviews for these covers here on Amazon are so good, however, and the price so attractive, that I decided to give them a try. They also come in the perfect colors for my den (navy/sand). As soon as I unpacked them I knew I'd done a smart thing. The quality was immediately evident, as well as the generous size of the flaps that go over the arms, back and front of the chairs. I also noted with pleasure that the quilting is not the traditional kind using thread, but is created by heat-sealing along the quilt lines. Since 2 of my previous sets of covers failed when doggie toenails got caught in and broke the thread quilting, I was very happy that the Sofa Shield covers did not have that weakness. They are also the perfect sizes (for a standard sofa and loveseat) and look great!

I've had this for a few months now, I waited to see how it held up to write a review. I was a little skeptical because it's not hugely expensive and the material seems a little thin.
I'm very pleased with how well it's held up. I have three dogs, two small and one large. The small ones like to scratch burrow into a sleeping position and the large one loves to catapult onto the couch at times (he's not generally allowed on the furniture since he'll take up all the space).
It's held up well with no damage from dog nails. It's been spilled on and peed on once when a small dog had the pee scared out of her (tornado alarm). It didn't soak through, washed away without stain or smell. I do hang dry it most of the time so I can make it last even longer, though I've tossed it in the dryer a few times without it shrinking or getting messed up. The strap helps it stay on the couch, though it does need readjusted sometimes.
Would buy again, going to get a cover for the lazy boy too.

Got it. It fits. Simple as that. I'm not really that concerned about the top part staying on (I know that sounds odd). It is long enough on the top to fold over the back cushions and end between the back part of the couch and the back side of the cushions and stay there. I don't use the supplied straps for this. I measured and it fit. Even completely covers the seating portion of my deep couch with about a foot to spare hanging down. This is for the extra long, the description was accurate. The sides have stayed on the arms of the couch for about a week of light use and sitting/laying down.

GREAT Product! We got a new puppy; that is proving to be an expert escape artist. His nails were starting to create picks on any fabric. So to stop that from happening; I looked for a universal protective love seat cover. I found your product; read all of your product description, customer reviews (especially the bad ones - just to see what was the major problem). After reading everything; I ordered the 65 inch furniture cover. It took a few minutes to figure out how to get the adjustable strap tightened to the necessary tightness needed; followed by a few minutes deciding how to position the cover to get the maximum coverage for the back, & front. We have had it on for a few days; & it is working GREAT! Totally recommend this for new puppy owners; & for older dogs & cats as well. Keeps the furniture safe from accidents.

This is the best thing I have ever purchased online. I have a 75lbs puppy who gets the zoomies and launches himself off the couch. He also likes to pretend bury his toys in the corners of it. Since buying this cover I not only protected my couch (black, poor choice in hindsight), but it collects less hair and I can wash it very easily. I do have to retuck the corners every so often because of my Evel Knievel dog, but it is very easy and more than worth it. I've had this for ~6 months now and wash it every other week, and it's still like new. I purchased the black and it was much darker than expected given the affordable price. It is soft and comfortable for watching your dog run laps. It looks really great and if this one wears out I will definitely be buying another one. I paid for this and have never spoken the company, so this is 100% real.

Okay. I put a cover on the whole couch. Then I put on this cover. The first cover is for hair and dry dirt. This cover is for the occasional accident with food or drink or pet, plus the hair and dirt. The first cover stays on long term for total protection--and this cover comes off once per week for a trip through the washing machine--or at least vacuum and spot cleaning. Total coverage--total peace of mind. Goes with the colours in my living room and looks okay, too. I would guess that, eventually, it will lose its water/stain resistance--especially if it is washed a great deal. Better to replace this once every couple of years--than to replace the couch. I like it!

I have only had this couch cover a few days. I don��t know yet how easy it will be to wash or if it��s waterproof or water resistant. But I love how it looks on our couch & our dog lives it too. She��s the reason we got it. You will have to straighten it out after sitting on it, but that��s so much easier to do than the blanket I used to cover the couch seat. The color was exactly as it was listed to be & looks great in the room. Measure your sofa including both arms for the right size. If you only measure the cushions your cover will be too small. We have a three cushion couch & I ordered the extra large. It��s perfect.

This cover was easy to put on - I didn't need the straps at all - and does the job of covering my sofa so my dog can sit next to me. I was using a blanket, but it didn't stay put and didn't look very good. I purchased the navy blue because my sofa is blue and white stripes. It looks great, but I didn't consider the fact that my dog is primarily WHITE. The hair really shows! I may go back and purchase another in a lighter color, but I'll see how this one does over time first. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong. It seems to stay put very well and looks attractive. I haven't washed it yet, but it seems like it would wash up fine. Will report back if I'm disappointed after laundering.

Needed some kind of cover for our new sofa and came across this here. After reading many of the positive reviews we decided to give the Sofa Shield a try. This is a fabulous product. The fit is great and it looks real nice on the new couch. The cover seems to stay on the couch even without the back strap. We have a Husky that thinks she can get up on the back of the sofa like the cats, so this works perfect. And when necessary we can just remove and wash. We are so pleased we are getting another one for our reclining chair. Our sofa is a reclining sofa and the cover does not interfere with the reclining at all. If you need something to protect your furniture look no further as you will not be disappointed. We have received a couple follow up emails from the company who makes the product making sure we are satisfied. They seem to really care about their customers.

I love this sofa cover! I have a long hair & a short hair cat who both shed. This sofa is their favorite place to nap...& mine to read. The hair does not seem to grip this cover like the actual sofa fabric did. I just quickly run my Bissell Pethair Eraser handheld vac over it & the hair is all gone. Comfy to sit on too. The fabric has a nice cottony feel. Easy to wipe up spills. The light sage green color blended well with my existing sofa, tho at first I was doubtful. Once it was on the sofa it looked good. Installation is super easy. Just make sure you measure first! Am thinking of purchasing more covers for our basement sectional sofa. Try it!!

I love this cover, wish I hadn't waited so long to get one. My sofa measures 61" so I got the larger one and it fits perfectly. No more tucking in the blanket I was using, this stays put for me and the dogs, even when Cupcake digs and digs at it before she lays down. I washed it before using, and it came out great, no wrinkles, very soft. One of the dogs got a little wet dog food on it the day after I got it (can't have anything nice with them around!) but I used a tiny bit of furniture cleaner on a wet paper towel and it came right off. Can't say enough about this, it's really great. And great price!

I have several cats, and as everyone knows, pets and furniture aren��t always the best combination. For years I was putting bed sheets on my couch in an effort to keep it free from pet hair and whatever else us humans might drop on it. No more. This thing is perfect. It fits my Ikea Karlstad like it was made for it. I can��t recommend this highly enough. It��s soft enough that I still take naps on the couch. In fact, it��s even cozier than it was before. And I love knowing I can just pop it in the washing machine if it starts to get gross. I��ve had it for about two months now and haven��t had to wash it yet. I love this thing.

Stupid cats like to Pee on the couch. I purchased a new couch and did not want it ruined so I bought this. Well, they peed on it and it did leak through...not bad though i was able to easily clean it up but the couch had scotch guard on it as well so that helped. But the true value is that this does keep dog and cat hair off the couch. When company is over i just pull them off and the couch looks new!!! If you don't want your cats to pee on the couch i would suggest Sssscat. That actually worked pretty good. They only need to see the can and they stay away

I was a little skeptical about purchasing something to cover our small, off-white sofa. But, our labraheeler insists that she's supposed to be on it, and blankets just did not stay in place and gave the room an unkempt appearance. Not only was the cover a perfect fit, but it stayed in place better than I expected. An added bonus was that the lt taupe matched the color of the sofa, so it did not detract from the room. The only thing I would change would be the length of the "flaps" that go over the arms of the sofa - I wish they were 8-10" longer (for our particular sofa).

I received 2 couch covers for the old couches we were moving into the sunroom that holds 2 cats and a great dane. I got them on yesterday with ease and they look like they will stay for the long haul vs the nearly identical ones I had with no strap. My great dane took no time before jumping on the couches so I am relieved I received these before I moved the couches. These look well made and seems like they will hold up to all my animals. I will be ordering 2 more for the chairs I have in there as well.

Our labrador retriever decided sleeping on the sofa in our sunroom was much more comfortable than the floor and she has a clear view of the front door. The cover stays in place with all her wiggling around. It washes like a dream and holds it's shape perfectly. It's easy to remove when company arrives and the sofa is clean and dog hair free! Just make sure to measure the back of the furniture for a perfect fit. I gambled on this less expensive cover and it is a win! We, including our dog, have no complaints!

I was using old sheets to cover my West Elm couch to protect it from my 10 month old golden retriever puppy, which sent me searching for a couch cover that actually stayed put. I ordered in the grey and it is wonderful. I love the strap that keeps it attached to the back of the couch no matter how much my dog scratches or digs. While it's not waterproof, it does protect against dampness (like damp paws or chewing on toys) and seems to dry quickly. I will be ordering another one so I always have one while the other is being laundered! This is amazing, especially for the price as I've found others much more expensive in the brick and mortars, even with coupons. You can't go wrong with this couch cushion.

Purchased this cover to protect a very light white sofa when visitors come over and so glad that I did. It isn��t as attractive as my sofa but it does the job and protects it. It is reversible which is great and gives you another option. It doesn��t fit as tight as I would like but I also didn��t use the buckles as I didn��t want to ��dent�� my fabric. All in all, it is a very sturdy but very comfortable material with layers rhat make it water resistant

I've had this couch cover now for roughly 2 months and I absolutely love it. I have 3 cats who shed like crazy and I needed something to protect my couch from collecting the hair and that was washable so their hair wouldn't kill our allergies. This cover is it! It's easy to put on and strip off and I wash it weekly (so probably been washed close to 8 times now) and it's still holding up! I do need to readjust it daily, but it's a small inconvenience and only because I like it to look tidy. Highly recommend!

It fits perfectly! (I measured. If I would have guessed, it would have been wrong--so for any potential buyer, really, measure and get the right size. You'll be so much happier.) Since my sofa has no arms, the arm covers just hang to the side. It looks fine that way, and I like that they hide the view of any dust bunnies under the sofa. I am SO happy to be able to throw this into the washer and dryer, put it back onto the sofa, and voila! Clean, fur-free sofa again. Easy peasy. The dogs enjoy the sofa as much as ever.

Absolutely perfect! Exactly what I needed to protect my loveseat from my 5 month old crazy puppy. My loveseat is a sleeper sofa and measured just over 60" wide at the seating area, so I ordered the "fits up to 65 inch". Fits perfect. Doesn't look too big! Able to tuck in sides, front and have a good amount to completely cover the back cushions by wrapping up and over, with an approx. 5" extra to tuck behind the top of the couch. Easily able to tuck the seat portion (depth) into the back of the seat cushions and have plenty of wrap-around for the front of the seat cushions as well. Arm covers are perfect and extend around the outside of the armrests sufficiently. I had no need to use the included strap but I will assume that is because my upholstery is fabric so it doesn't tend to slip. The strap seemed very sturdy and I'm sure it would have worked well had I needed to use it.

I always resisted buying slipcovers because, well, who wants to be the crazy relative who makes everyone sit on horrible plastic sofa covers? But my last loveseat was slowly shredded by my shelties, who like to jump up to look (read: bark manaically) out the front window. With our new furniture, I decided I needed to invest in something to protect the fabric from dog nails, and I'm so pleasantly surprised by how nice these are. The 2 seater size fit my loveseat almost perfectly, and the color coordinated great with the throw pillows. So far the cover has stayed in place without needing the strap. I liked it so much that I immediately ordered a second one for the family room sofa (the dogs' other favorite piece of furniture).

I have never used a slipcover before because I always thought they looked ill-fitted and sloppy. In my current situation (we have a ripped pillow cushion on our microfiber couch and a new dog who is pulling at the existing hole making it bigger) I didn��t want to buy a new couch, so I knew what I needed. This slipcover is amazing! It��s soft, fits so well and compliments our current couch upholstery rather than try to cover it completely. It was simple to put on and tuck in, and you can��t beat the price. We just ordered the loveseat cover.

I ordered one sofa cover from another company first but not happy with it. I ordered this one and found perfect fit for my sofa 65 inch plus better quality material! So I ordered another 43 inch for my coach. Both fit very well. Here are photos. I like the fit and material that make the cover comfortable. The strip is full length surrounding the back.

I just received it today and it was way better than I expected. I looked around for over a year and finally decided to get this one. I am glad I did. It did not have a strong smell which I was happy about. I have very sensitive sinuses. The color is perfect. The straps and band appear to be very strong. I have a over sized couch and it fits perfectly. The flap hanging over the top of the back is at least 3 ft long so I can really stuff it into the cushions. If it holds up well when washed that will be great. I loved it so much I just ordered one for the love seat! I was so tired of using old blankets to keep my furniture clean and not smelling like dogs.

I was very excited to put these on, they fit great. We have a Reclining couch So I was considered they might not work. But they work great. This is my second time order these the first set lasted more than two year, and I wash them weekly. I have three dog, two huskies that shed so much. This is perfect and easy to clean right befor guest come and I don��t have to worry about them being cover in dog Furr. Just slipped it off clean it and keeps my beige couch clean from all spills and dog drool. Love love love. Great price for the Quality. Also one of my husky always try��s to pulled off the cover the strap in the back prevents her from being able to cause a mess.... she not happy with the new cover but I sure am.

Love! I just bought a new couch set and needed something to protect it from the dog/cat hair and cat claws. I got the grey/charcoal for my grey themed living room. The xl fits my large couch perfectly! I also go the small for my loveseat. The cat liked to sit on the tops of my couches and her nails and hair was starting to cause damage. I also have a lab who likes to lounge on the couches so I needed more protection than a blanket. I love the look of these. They do not feel cheap and are comfortable! Easy to throw on and take off when guests come over (I actually had family over and they really didn't even notice the covers untill I pointed them out). A must have for pet households! I pictured both sides of the cover on my couches. Both colors looks great! I'm extremely particular about my house and what looks good and I'm so happy with these.

This is exactly what I needed and fit my new couch so well , that I didnt even have to use the straps. I was a little worried I got it for nothing cause my furbaby didnt get on the couch the first week it was here. I ordered one for his chair and now he is back to cuddling up with me on couch. I am planning on buying the chair that matches the couch when it goes back down. Lol! I added a pic of my babys chair and it definitely needs the straps in that big chair. Hair is no problem, I use a hair remover sponge and it works like a charm. Great buy for great price.

These covers are LIFESAVERS!! They stay in place, they��re super thin so they are easy to wash frequently, and they look nice! I just pull them off quick when guests come over and my brand new couch still looks brand new. I have had them for about 6 months and they still look great after every wash. Highly recommend!!

It's easy to see that this design will fit some couches better than others depending on the furniture style. In our case, both the sofa and the loveseat covers fit our furniture just fine, although you can see the strap buckles on the ends of the backs. My wife likes accent pillows, so the pillows make the buckles less noticeable. Smoothing out the covers when you get up is a must, otherwise, they get all pulled, twisted and ugly looking. All in all, though, we're satisfied with the covers and how they look on our furniture.

This is great!!!! As u can see my sofas are light and my girl loves The couch! So I just quickly put this on for u guys to see how awesome this is!!! So in measurements this couch would be compatible for their 2 seater size about 43�� in the seating length.. HOWEVER, after reading all the sizing issues I ordered the 3 seater size and it has a little extra fabric so u can tuck the sides in and that stops it from sliding. It��s black and gray ( I will be using it on the gray side but the black allows you guys to see it better) it��s also very soft and it will for sure keep my sofas clean l highly recommend it!!!!!!

This is a wonderful, very soft and easy to use sofa cover. I had been making to with a throw blanket and it worked Ok, but it slipped a lot. I finally broke down and purchased this, and wish I had done so sooner.

I love this! I have a cream colored slip cover sofa that is constantly getting dirty not to mention wear and tear. I got a cover for it before but it looked sloppy. Thought I would give this a try hoping my �� Mid-Century Modern�� design wouldn��t be disrupted too much. Pleasantly surprised! The strap that extends across the back helps it keep straight and crisp. I just ordered the matching chair cover. Just wish there was an ottoman cover!!
